Do you have experience supporting an IT environment, from both a software and hardware point of view? We are looking for an ICT Support Technician who will provide specialist ICT support to staff and pupils to ensure high quality learning facilities.
The ICT Support Technician will provide first line support, be responsible for the set-up/preparation of all related activities, maintaining specialist equipment and checking for quality/safety.
You will investigate new technologies and advise on purchase and installation, keep an inventory of all equipment and troubleshoot/repair ICT and audio visual equipment where possible.
Other tasks include maintaining printers and the relationship with the suppliers, pre-load software prior to learning sessions/activities and provide support to the company websites, ensuring content and updates are uploaded by the designated operators.
Candidates will be educated to A’ level standard or equivalent, with at least one years’ experience in an ICT/Graduate environment. You will have strong Microsoft Office skills, good written and verbal communication with the ability to relate to both staff and pupils.
This will be working in a standalone role so it’s important that you are self-motivated, able to work independently with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
Salary: To £25,000
