Our client seeks an experienced Scrum Master to help their development teams reach the next level in adoption of Agile Scrum practices.
As a Scrum Master you will work closely with the Agile Delivery Manager to help drive change within the business and to motivate and engage project teams at all levels.
You will have excellent experience of introducing and coaching Agile behaviour, culture and values across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure a fast paced and high-quality delivery of all Agile projects within the department.
As part of your role you will also manage the project’s scope and timeline using empirical based metrics. Coordinate sprint reviews/planning, backlog refinement, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups. Work with product owner to manage the backlog and new requests. Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur. Ensure Customers outcomes are met through delivery in line with internal stakeholder expectations. Use tools available within Jira and Confluence to help teams identify patterns and track progress.
You will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual, passionate about Agile values and practices. Energised by leading, coaching and developing people.
Candidates will ideally hold a Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master.
You will have previous experience applying Scrum/Kanban frameworks and have knowledge of XP practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD etc. You will also have experience of Agile metrics, retrospective formats and tools for improvement. Agile practices such as User Stories, Story Mapping, DOR, DOD.
On offer is a salary up to £60,000 depending on experience plus discretionary bonus scheme, life cover, company pension, etc. There is a flexible working environment with the opportunity to work from home where assigned tasks allow. However, due to the nature of the role it will involve frequent travel to their Olney offices which are commutable from Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford.
