Contract Opportunities
Metaskil works with it’s clients to provide contract staff on a short-term and long-term basis. Our online tracking solution enables contractors and customers to monitor and sign off days worked. Metaskil offer assignments that fall within IR35 and outside of IR35.

Metaskil’s clients are UK wide and we present opportunities for our candidates across the full spectrum of roles within IT. From Support Engineers and System Administrators to Head of IT and IT Director.

Most frequent questions and answers
Our policy is to build a strong relationship with our candidates, as our clients trust us to deliver only the very best possible candidates for their opportunities. Therefore, we will furnish you with as much detail as possible on the role, undertake a detailed telephone screening with you and if both parties are comfortable to move forward ask you to confirm in writing you would like us to represent you and provide us with some proof of ID. When we submit your CV to our clients, we don’t believe in changing the wording of the CV in anyway, as we believe it is key for the client to see your CV as we saw it from you.
Our policy isn’t to contact references before submitted your details to a client. However, we will ask you to provide at least two referee’s from recent assignments, which will be taken up by either ourselves or the client after interview stage and prior to a formal offer.
Interviews will be confirmed in writing via email, with as much detail as possible about the interview as long as all the required information about who you will be meeting, the location, date and time etc.
All contractor resource that work through Metaskil will be asked to complete your time recording on our internal time recording system, once completed each month, this will notify the client to approve.
We run a calendar monthly time recording process (unless our client specifies a different time period).
No, Metaskil require you to have your own limited company or work through a UK based Umbrella Company.
Providing your time recording is submitted correctly and we receive an invoice from you within 4 working days of month end, Metaskil will pay the invoice promptly directly to your nominated bank account, within 14 days (but usually quicker).
This depends on the nature of the work and the client. The legislation around IR35 has had an impact on the status of many contracts and we work closely with both our candidates and clients to ensure that contractual paperwork is relevant and accurate to the nature of the assignment.
